“But I don’t know anything about web programming!!!”

I hear you cry.

Well guess what – you don’t have to! You’ve already created plenty of web space. By now you should have a blog, Facebook, Twitter – these are all web spaces you have created. I know you didn’t create them from scratch but you’ve customised tham and made them your own – so now you’re own. Google Sites takes that concept a little bit further…

Thing 19 – Google Pages

Google Pages gives you some basic web pages and lets you customise them without having to know any HTML, CSS or anything like that. Its as easy as blogging or using Word!

  1. Hi Amy

Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I can’t import gadgets into Google Sites. I’ve tried a number of gadgets (clocks and transparent clocks), both Google Sites gadgets and iGoogle gadgets that are allegedly compatible. Also using uploading and URLs (just URLs for iGoogle gadgets) but with no luck. They’re often fine in preview but once in place in the Page Content area they’re just a white space except for their title.
